Hannah Baby

Andrea Marie Breiling is a contemporary Abstract Expressionist painter known for large atmospheric works created with spray paint and dye. Breiling’s paintings exhibit a fluid energy that shows the physicality behind her creative process. Drawing inspiration from color field artists Morris Louis and Stanley Whitney, Breiling creates vibrant color block patterns that envelop the viewer in a kaleidoscope of hazy lines and bold colors. Breiling received her MFA in Studio Art from Claremont Graduate University in California, where she was awarded the Albert B. Friedman grant and the TA Fellowship by Pitzer College. Her works have been exhibited in Germany as well as in Los Angeles and Dallas.
