Michael Craig-Martin (b. 1941) is a London-based contemporary and conceptual artist who is known for his minimalist works of quotidian objects. His distinctive style of paired-down everyday items probes the relationship between objects and images. “Sunglasses” is from Craig-Martin’s recent Fundamentals series, which also includes tennis racket, a remote, and a lightbulb.
